Wheat Market Recap Report van 19 oktober
December Wheat finished down 5 3/4 at 619 1/2, 18 1/4 off the high and 1 1/2 up from the low. March Wheat closed down 4 1/2 at 651 3/4. This was 1 1/2 up from the low and 15 off the high. December wheat closed moderately lower on the session and down 18 1/4 cents from the early highs. Weakness in the US dollar and a dry outlook for the central and southern plains was enough to spark an early bounce for wheat and a move to a 5-session high but weakness developed in the other grains to pull the market off of the highs and to just slightly higher on the day into the mid-session. Other news was slow and a lack of new buying interest from fund traders and a sluggish global economic tone seemed to helped limit the advance on the day for many commodity markets. Traders see weekly export sales, for release before the opening, near 525,000 tonnes as compared with 500,700 tonnes last week. December Oats closed down 2 at 337. This was 1 1/4 up from the low and 6 3/4 off the high.
